Marigold Braised Tofu 225g
Marigold Braised Tofu is a versatile and highly nutritious Vegetarian and Vegan food that can be served either hot or cold.
It looks a little like tuna fish with a slightly oily liquid, has a mild flavour but can easily be seasoned to taste.
Unlike tofu blocks you may have come accross in the supermarkets, this tofu is made of thin delicate folds of 'tofu skin' which is traditionally called 'Yuba'.
It is then shaped into chunks which can be used in salads, sandwiches, stir frys, soups and casseroles.
A great recipe to use this in is to make a mock 'tuna' mayo filling:
Drain and rinse the braised tofu, place in a bowl and mash with a few tablespoons of vegan mayo, chopped spring onion, a sprinkling of malt vinegar, salt, pepper and shredded nori - add in some sweetcorn if you wish!

Once opened, remove from can, refrigerate and consume within 4 days.
