Orgran Gluten Free Vegan Pancake Mix - Buckwheat 375g
Wheat free, gluten free stone milled buckwheat pancake mix. Suitable for sweet and savoury pancakes.
No added cane sugar. Cholesterol free. Buckwheat is one of the best known sources of high biological protein.
Although the original recipe listed on the pack calls for the mix to be used with milk and eggs, a vegan alternative is also included. It can be prepared using water or soya milk and vegetable shortening instead.
If you like your pancakes sweet, try topping with a dairy free spread of your choice and maple syrup or even a vegan honey alternative (like Sweet Freedom), and fruit.

Directions: Vegan (Egg free) Pancakes:
Empty contents of pack into a bowl, add 450ml water (15 fl .oz), 60ml (2 fl .oz) oil or Dairy free margarine.
Stir all ingredients into a smooth batter.
Optional : In seperate bowl mix 3 teaspoons of ORGRAN No Egg with 6 tablespoons of water - Add to pancake batter and mix well.
Lightly grease a frying pan and preheat.
Pour batter into the frying pan to desired size and cook over low-medium heat. When edge of pancake appears cooked and bubbles have burst, turn over
and cook the other side until golden brown.
