Vegourmet Vegan Sausages - 'Frankische' 240g
A vegan take on the classic Franconian style of sausage. Franconia is region towards the centre of Germany where sausages have always been a favourite.
A succulent, savoury and satisfyingly textured vegan sausage with aromatic marjoram, which is the distinctive herb in this classic recipe, finishing with just a touch of peppery heat that leaves a warming aftertaste.
You can enjoy these in the traditional manner with sauerkraut or potato salad - without mustard. However, many Germans can't resist adding generous dollop of mustard, or horseradish. Alternatively, chop them and add to other dishes like casseroles, stews and soups.
If you feel like doing the full Franconion, you can try "Drei im Weggla" ...meaning "Three in a Bun". Quite literally, three tasty grilled or pan-fried hot sausages in a large crusty roll coated in German mustard.
