Vegan 'Steak And Mozzarella' Wraps

This is a fast and filling snack or lunchbox treat that makes a great alternative to sandwiches.

Ingredients:

Cover your deli wrap with a thin coating of vegan mayonnaiseStage 1:

Spread a thin layer of vegan mayonnaise over your deli wrap. This will help everything stay in place and adds some extra flavour.

Then cover most of the wrap in your crispy lettuce, leaving a small area one one side of the wrap uncovered (as this section will be on the outside when rolled so any lettuce of steak will just fall out!)

Chop your vegan steak, you may need only half, and lay on ethe wrap.Stage 2:

Take your Viana Bonanza Veggie Steaks and slice them into strips.

You do not need to cook them (unless you want them hot) as they are are precooked already and tast fine straight from the pack.

Lay them out on the wrap as shown above, all lengthways, so the wrap can be easily rolled up.

Take a toffutti vegan mozzarella slice and chop it up into strips and lay them over your deli wrap.

Roll your wrap tightly holding all the vegan steak insideStage 3:

We are ready to roll everything up.

Start at the side that has the most filling and roll towards the side that we left with an empty section.

Try to keep it quite tight, rolling the filling in so it can't just slip out when you pick it up :-)

Just slice the roll in two and serve!Stage 4:

You have a few options now:

You can cut the roll in half, and then eat immediately.

Or for lunch boxes you can wrap the whole thing in foil, cling film or paper and eat it by just peeling the wrapping away.

VeggieStuff Kitchen Tip1. Instead of Bonanza Veggie Steaks, try viana's Cowgirl Veggie Steaks or even
2. Try another one of the selection of vegan cheese we have.
2. More flavour? Try with garlic mayo, or add mustard or even ketchup to your mayo before mixing in :-).

* We do not suggest exact quantities as our 'recipes' are a guide and we like to improvise when we cook. You may make for one or for many people, and you may be prefer to use more of less of each of the ingredients to suit your own taste. The recipe outlined above was how we created our dish, but we encourage you to play a bit and taylor it to your needs :-)
