Realeat VegeBanger mix is now under Granose brand.

The Vegebanger you have known and loved for years was discontinued in 2008 when the multinational giant Hain Celestial who had owned the Realeat brand for some years decided to sell off it's dry mix division, which included the Granose and Direct Foods brands too.

Unfortunately the new owners, Symingtons, decided to use milk derived flavourings in the products to give them a 'meatier' flavour.

This was met with outrage by the die-hard fans of Realeat VegeBanger mix who had already been deeply missing one of their favourite kitchen ingredients. They put together a petition with thousands of signatures from people who were either vegan, or sensitive to dairy or just liked it the way it had always been. We are glad to say that Symingtons listened to this feedback and removed the dairy ingredients from their products so they are vegan again.

Ingredients:
Textured Soya Protein 28% (defatted soya flour, zinc oxide, niacin, iron (ferrous sulphate), copper gluconate, vitamin A, calcium panthonate, vitamin B1 (thiamine), vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride), vitamin B2 (riboflavin), vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin)), Wholewheat Rusk (with raising agent ammonium carbonate), Wheat Gluten, Rolled Oats 14%, Flavouring (pepper, coriander, ginger, sage, parsley, rosemary, thyme, basil, nutmeg, mace), Dried Vegetable 4% (onions, tomatoes), Sunflower Oil (with antioxidant vitamin E), Sea Salt, Hydroylsed Vegetable Protein, Modified Potato Starch, Garlic Powder, Colour (beetroot red), Stabiliser (guar gum). Contains soya, wheat & Oats. Certified by the Vegetarian Society.
