Vegetarian sausage mix from Granose. Makes 8 sausages.

This product replaces the Realeat and Direct Foods burger mixes that we have all enjoyed over the years. This follows the merger or these brands and their subsequent sale to a new owner.

VeggieStuff Kitchen Tips:
While these do make good sausages for everything from cooked breakfasts to sausage sandwiches, you can also make them up as small balls and shallow fry them as normal before adding to noodles, pasta dishes or stir fries (add towards the end to avoid them going soggy!).

Granose Meat-Free Lincolnshire Sausage Mix

Ingredients:
Rusk 30% (Wheatflour, Salt), Dried Textured Soya Protein (27%) (Defatted Soya Flour, Iron (Ferrous Sulphate) Vitamin B1 (Thiamine Mononitrate), Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin), Vitmain B12 (Cyanocobalamin), Vegetable Oil, Stabiliser (Methyl Cellulose), Rice Flour, Natural Flavourings, Soya Flour, Potato Starch, Dried Sage, Yeast Extract, Ground Black Pepper, Malt Extract Powder (Barley).
Allergy Advice: Wheat Gluten, Barley Gluten, Soya.

Cooking Instructions:
Empty contents of one sachet into a bowl. Add 125ml of cold water. Mix well and allow to stand for 10 minutes. Form into 4 sausage shapes and fry gently in shallow oil until golden brown. Alternatively pre-heat grill on a medium setting and grill for 12 minutes each side or until golden brown.
